FAQ
I don’t know how to pose or look sexy. What do I do?
Don’t worry about it! I am here to help you every step of the way. It is my responsibility to pose you from head to toe. If the pose does not look right, we will make adjustments together to make you look fabulous!
Is hair and makeup included?
Hair and makeup are not included in our boudoir session. If you wish to have your hair and makeup professionally done, we can provide recommendations for local professionals. We have a dressing room where your hair & makeup artist can prepare you for your session.
Is hair and makeup necessary?
No, hair and makeup by a professional is not necessary. Many of our clients do their own hair and makeup and their photographs turn out just as fabulous as those who have their hair & makeup done. If dark smokey eyes and curly hair is not your look then don’t do it! But if you want to vamp it up and do something completely out of your comfort zone then do it! Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable with how you look.
Should I go to a tanning salon?
Like the hair and makeup, this is completely up to you. If you do decide to tan, we do have a few recommendations. We recommend tanning a few days prior to your session since tanning solutions can take some time to set. Watch out for tan lines. We also recommend exfoliating the day after your tanning session to make sure your skin is smooth and streak free.
How many outfits should I bring?
We recommend bringing at least two outfits in addition to some basics like sexy undies in black, white or your/his favorite color.
Do my outfits have to be lingerie?
Not at all! Your outfit could be your husband’s old baseball jersey and glove! We have photographed everything from an orange construction jacket with hard hat to ski jackets with snowboards!
Do I have to take nude photos?
Only if you want to.
Will my photos be posted online?
Only if you give us permission. I do ask my clients for the ability to share their photographs with potential clients, but if you wish to keep your photos personal or are afraid someone might see them online, you can say no. We will respect your wishes. We only share photographs that we have permission to share.
How long are the sessions?
We do not set a time limit for a session, but they typically take a couple of hours from start to finish. This does not include hair and makeup, which adds about an hour to the session. If you have a time constraint the day of the session, please let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Photography is truly a part of me and who I am as an individual. I want to show women of all shapes, colors, sizes and ages that we are beautiful. We, as women, can be very hard on ourselves, so being able to capture the beauty that shines from each of my clients is a gift. It’s a gift that is given multiple times throughout the process. The first is seeing our clients who walk in the studio maybe nervous or unsure, walk out with their heads held high knowing they are beautiful, finding confidence and excited about what they just accomplished. Then comes the design consultation, when they see themselves in the photos and realize how beautiful they are. Sometimes we hear “WOW, that’s me?”. The last gift I usually see is when the product is delivered. Our clients see the prints or album and are excited to share it with their significant other. I love photographing boudoir. It is rewarding on many levels! The gifts that my clients get through the experience and process are priceless! I look forward to experiencing that with you.
